At this event, we collaborated with organizer Faith Johnson, of A Pretty Smart World, a nonprofit organization, along with partners 4 the Luv Foundation and Laloboy Foundation. Together, we provided free haircuts, mental health workshops, counseling services for families in need, and take-home sensory toys for children and young adults diagnosed with ADHD and on the autism spectrum. These families and caregivers have often sought a supportive environment with barbers and stylists who possess the patience and compassion to attend to their specific needs. Beyond offering complimentary haircuts, this event served as a platform for meaningful conversations surrounding neurodiversity, emphasizing its profound importance for inclusivity in our community.
This event was organized to support and promote small businesses by offering free haircuts to community members and highlighting local shops and services.
