Joy Johnson, the owner of 4C Hair Co. and the co-owner of Cut’N Corners & Convos Barbershop in Tempe, AZ. Originally from Chicago, Illinois. Joy has been a prominent figure in the Arizona barbering scene for over 18 years. Her journey in the barbering industry began at the young age of 12, and she has since established herself as a seasoned professional. With a rich background owning multiple barber shops in both Chicago and now in Arizona, Joy has catered to a diverse clientele, including athletes, entertainers, and community members in need. Passionate about giving back, she frequently provides haircuts to the underprivileged and underserved populations while mentoring aspiring barbers and entrepreneurs. Joy's expertise extends beyond the barber chair; she has served as a trusted confidant to many of her clients, offering guidance and support in various aspects of life. Joy's commitment to excellence, combined with her dedication to fostering meaningful connections, has made her a respected leader in the industry. She’s breaking barriers and creating a thriving business that continues to make a positive impact where community is celebrated, connections are nurtured, and opportunities are accessible to all. 

Faith Johnson is the founder and CEO of APrettySmartWorld, a nonprofit organization focused on building a neuro-inclusive world by educating, empowering, and providing assistance to spread neurodiversity in the community. Her passion for medicine began at a young age while caring for her grandparents. A transformative Ted Talk on the human brain shifted her career aspirations from surgery to neuroscience. In 2019, she declared her major in Neuroscience and Cognitive Science, focusing on cognition, with the goal of becoming a pediatric neuropsychologist.

Throughout her journey, Faith has gained invaluable experience at renowned organizations like Mayo Clinic and Hospice of the Valley, nurturing her dedication to medicine. In college, she held leadership positions as the President of The Women's Network at the University of Arizona and the President of the Civil Youth Council for the city of Chandler, Arizona. Faith's ultimate aspiration is to create a safe space where all individuals can be heard and feel comfortable and accepted without any shame. She advocates for the empowerment of everyone, emphasizing that recognition and fulfillment should not require conformity to societal expectations. Faith believes in embracing diversity and celebrating heritage with pride and confidence .

Meet Zuriat Horton, also known as Queen, a licensed cosmetologist and educator of textured hair. Owner of The Queen’z Touch, Queen brings over twelve years of experience, mastering the art of transforming hair into self-confidence, one hairstyle at a time. She is deeply committed to helping others maintain healthy hair and nurturing connections through the beauty of their crown. Specializing in textured hair, braids, and locs, she has developed a strong set of skills and unique techniques, ensuring that every client leaves feeling confident and beautiful. She’s aspired to educate textured hair enthusiasts or professionals who desires to learn more about different techniques to keep their hair healthy and protected. Devoted to making a positive impact, she frequently offers her expertise and services to underserved and underprivileged communities, while also guiding and supporting the next generation of hairstylists and cosmetologists.
